Design Optimization of 18-Poled High-Speed Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator

The aim of this research is to optimize the design an 18-poled 8000 rpm 7 kVA high-speed permanent magnet synchronous generator. goal find best factor levels for parameters, namely thickness (MH), offset, and embrace (EMB) responses efficiency (%), rated torque (N.m), air-gap flux density (Tesla), armature current (A/mm2), thermal load (A2/mm3). keep at 1 tesla while maximizing minimizing rest responses. Optimization was carried out with one sample algorithm selected from each commonly used optimization classifications. For purpose, different class well-known techniques such as response surface methodology (gradient-based methods), genetic (evolutionary-based algorithms), particle swarm (swarm-based modified social group (human-based algorithms) are selected. In Ansys Maxwell environment, numerical simulations out. Mathematical modeling optimizations performed by using Minitab Matlab, respectively. Confirmations also performed. Results comparisons show that algorithms a bit outperform algorithm, problem.
